You might have missed this little article by Keith Flett in the Morning Star. 22-6-11 p.13

‘Won’t get Fooled Again’ The Who (1971) which, as Flett points out, does not appear in the tome reviewed below, is interesting because of its lyrical ambiguity as much as it musical power showing the influence of Terry Riley.

Seems to me it is plainly cynical about politicians of left or right as they are all under the sway of corporate capital.

    “Politicians cannot be trusted in anyway. Those who seek power will submit to those who are willing to give them power. Therein is the corrption”. As said by a friend of mine from Dundee, Scotland.
